About the role
This is a full time position based across our beautiful Ivanhoe and Macleod hubs. The role is based at the hubs 4 days per week, with one day of mobile clients in surrounding suburbs.
As a paediatric Speech Pathologist, you will be well supported, working through Zanda’s own Leap’in Start program, as well as weekly supervision from our team leader, two directors (both senior Speech Pathologists), and monthly supervision from our world class clinical advisors.

About You…

Loves working with children from birth - 12 years
-
At least one year of experience working as a Speech Pathologist
-
Experience using play based therapy approaches
-
Is eager to learn, hardworking and committed
-
You’re a great listener and team player

Compassionate and able to support parents from various backgrounds

Flexible, practical, and goes above & beyond for families to ensure amazing outcomes
What you’ll be doing…

Supporting children from birth to 12 years old including their families
-
Managing a clinical caseload with primary focus on:
-
Late talkers/facilitation of pre-linguistic skills
-
Expressive and receptive language skills
-
Development of social skills using neurodiversity affirming strategies/programs
-
Articulation, phonology, and motor speech disorders
-
Literacy skills
-
General AAC for early intervention
-
Parent coaching and education (e.g. early language strategies)
-
Early intervention for ASD, Developmental Delay, and other Genetic/Developmental conditions
-
Facilitating our innovate group programs (school readiness, social connections, dance/music....)
-
Leadership opportunities for interested candidates - we support you to develop your clinical or people management skills
