Cassie is extremely passionate about Occupational Therapy and going above and beyond to ensure the best outcomes for clients and their families. Cassie has experience liaising with schools, kindergartens and other stake holders, in a collaborative and respectful way to ensure that everyone involved has the best chance of supporting each child.
When Cassie is not practicing Occupational Therapy she is teaching Dance and Performing Arts to people of All Abilities. Cassie is extremely passionate about inclusion and participation for all people and strives to keep this at the core of her Dance teaching and Occupational Therapy practice.
Cassie is known for her creativity within therapy practice in coming up with new and exciting ways to motivate children to complete often mundane activities of daily living which are a challenge for them.
Cassie has completed Professional Development in the following areas:
Down Syndrome Specific Training – e. motion21 – addressing physical, intellectual, social and emotional nuances.
