Zara Duffy

Zara is passionate about being an advocate for her clients, ensuring families get the best outcomes for their children. Whether you need a representative at your child's school meeting, or someone to explain to a kinder how to support your child make new friends, Zara can be there to support you.

Zara is a certified practising member of Speech Pathology Australia. This means that Zara is committed to ongoing learning and implementing the latest evidence-based practice. Zara is also an enthusiastic, experienced ballet and performing arts teacher.

She is able to use elements of the performing arts to make sessions engaging and fun for children. This means no boring worksheets or outdated flashcards in sessions. Zara believes therapy should be fun, as that's when children learn the most!

Zara is a great listener. She is reliable and contactable. She prides herself on being able to explain things in plain English – no technical speech therapist  jargon.

Qualifications

Zara has a Masters degree in Speech and Language Pathology from Macquarie University, a Bachelor of Health Sciences from Sydney University, and is completing a Graduate Diploma in Psychology at The University of Melbourne. She was awarded the prestigious Sydney University medal for community achievement in 2014.
