Alison

• Alison holds a Bachelor of Health Sciences (Mjr Rehabilitation Counselling)  and Master of Speech Pathology from La Trobe University. 
• Alison is a Certified practicing speech pathologist and a registered member of Speech Pathology Australia (SPA).
• Prior to this, Alison had a career in the corporate world before taking a step back to take care of her children. She realised her passion for communication during Speech Therapy sessions with her oldest child and decided to follow that passion. 
• Ali has experience treating stuttering (Lidcombe Program) and building early language and pretend play skills. She has a keen interest in Key Word Sign after learning basic AUSLAN during her studies. 
• She also enjoys supporting neuro-affirming, pro-social behaviours through gaming therapy.

Fun Facts:

• Ali is a little obsessed with the colour purple.
• She is AuDHD (Autistic with ADHD) and is a parent to neurodivergent children. 
• On weekends Alison enjoys being creative (sewing, painting, furniture restoration), gaming with her children, and relaxing with her dog.
