Briody
Briody is a Graduate Speech Pathologist from Melbourne University, with a bachelor’s degree in Psychological Science and experience as a Disability Support Worker. This background has given her a deep understanding of childrens' emotional, sensory and regulation needs, and she is passionate about supporting each child both inside and outside the therapy room.
She believes therapy should feel natural, playful, and easy for families to weave into everyday routines. Her approach focuses on building strong relationships, celebrating each child’s strengths, and creating home strategies that are achievable, meaningful and fun.
Briody has a particular interest in early language development, AAC (i.e. communication devices and visuals), and supporting neurodivergent children through play-based and child-led therapy. She loves incorporating creativity, art, and imaginative activities into sessions to keep children engaged and motivated.
Most of all, Briody is committed to working alongside families, making therapy a positive and enjoyable part of their child’s growth.
