- Lucy is a passionate and experienced Paediatric Occupational Therapist who is dedicated to helping children reach their full potential through meaningful everyday activities. With 5 years of experience working with children and families in community health, homes, schools, kindergartens and early intervention.
- Lucy specialises in supporting children with sensory processing challenges, developmental delays and conditions such as autism and ADHD, to develop their skills in fine and gross motor, social and emotion regulation, and self-care so they can participate in daily tasks and routines.
- Lucy’s approach is child-centered, family-focused, and grounded in evidence-based practice. With a deep understanding of the integral role parents and caregivers play in child development, Lucy adopts a coaching framework, which focuses on equipping therapists and caregivers with the knowledge, skills and strategies required to support them to continue to practice the skills they learn across environments. This enhances children’s goal acquisition and equips them with the ability to transfer learnt skills into new environments.
- Lucy believes that every child learns and grows in their own unique way, and strives to create fun, supportive, and engaging therapy plans and strategies that build confidence, independence, and joy in everyday life.
